I watched 'Alone' again last night. I like this episode sooo much, and I think it's such a testament to Doggett's character. You see how he's really progressed.

For starters, there's the lovely scene at the beginning when Scully gives him the Apollo keyring. I love the fact that they've come so far, to the point they can really trust and respect each other, rather than be constantly suspicious. Particularly for Scully, who has such a hard time trusting anyone, it's great to see her open up at last.

Secondly, I love how patient he is with Leyla. He never shoots her down, he listens calmly to her ideas however outrageous they are. It's a far cry from the Doggett that was first assigned to the X-Files against his will. Even if he's not a totally convert to the believer camp yet, you can see how he's really tried to open himself up to the possibilities.

Thoughts/additions/comments/disagreements anyone?

Hey guys, and thanks once again for joining.

We need an icon for our community, so we thought we'd set a challenge for you to create one. Aren't we clever? :D

You may submit up to 3 icons.
Your icon must contain a picture of Doggett, and the name of the community, 'doggettislove'
Post your entries as a url and image in a comment to this post; all comments are screened.
You have until midnight BST (GMT+1) Friday 26th May to get your entries in, so plenty of time.
A vote will take place, and the winning icon will be used as the community userpic.

Depending on how successful this is, we might run an icon challenge every few weeks just for the fun of it.

I made this banner that we can use, until we have the layout well and truely sorted, what do you think?



Now, we're hoping the layout change will have your input. We will be asking for submissions in the near future, for buttons, banners, community icons, and headers. Would you guys be willing to take part in this?

While we're still finding our feet, please help spread the word, we'd love new members, and can't wait to get some discussions going. I'm sure you all will be releived to be in an atmosphere where you can talk about Agent Doggett, and seasons 8 & 9 without being interrupted by hater :)
